November Monthly Box Recipes: Cozy, Comforting & Holiday-Ready

November Monthly Box Recipes: Cozy, Comforting & Holiday-Ready

November brings shorter days, chilly evenings, and plenty of reasons to gather around the table. This month’s box is full of hearty, flavorful cuts to help you create cozy soups, slow-cooked roasts, festive appetizers, and nourishing breakfasts — all made with regeneratively-raised, pasture-fed beef you can feel good about.

What’s Inside This Month

  • 4 lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 Skirt Steak
  • 1 Summer Sausage
  • 1 Beef Breakfast Sausage
  • 1 Beef Roast
  • 2 T-Bone Steaks

Goulash

Use: Ground Beef

This is an easy, throw-it-in-the-pot kind of soup — warm, nourishing, and weeknight friendly.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 2 potatoes, cubed (or noodles of choice)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can of corn, drained
  • + any other veggies in your fridge (zucchini, mushrooms, beans, etc)
  • 4 cups broth (we have amazing Beef Bone Broth & Chicken Bone Broth!)
  • Salt, pepper, & garlic powder to taste

Sauté your onions and garlic then brown the beef, add vegetables, broth, and seasoning. Simmer until tender. Serve with buttered sourdough or fresh milled garlic bread.

Optional: Add a splash of cream for extra coziness.

Classic Chili

Use: Ground Beef

Brown the ground beef with onions, then stir in chili powder, cumin, garlic, tomato sauce, broth, and beans if you like them. Let it simmer low and slow. Top with cheese, sour cream, and green onions.

I've heard families use chili on chips for Frito Pie, but we really love it on top of scrambled eggs or buttered noodles. You'll have to let us know if you try either one.

Pomegranate Skirt Steak with Whipped Feta (Holiday-Worthy)

Use: Skirt Steak

This feels fancy but comes together easily — and it makes an incredible appetizer platter sliced thin. Serve it with toasted baguette slices, olives, and roasted grapes if you want to really impress.

Beef Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Use: Beef Breakfast Sausage

We are super excited about the launch of this new product and you are some of the first to enjoy it! We hope you love it as much as we do!

This recipe is perfect for slow mornings, meal prep, hosting family, or even Christmas morning.

How To:
Brown the breakfast sausage and layer it in a casserole dish with sautéed peppers and onions. Whisk 10–12 eggs with salt and a splash of milk. Pour over sausage and bake at 350°F for ~35 minutes. Top with cheese during the last 5 minutes if desired.

Make it go further by adding potatoes or your favorite bread to submerge in the egg mixture before baking.

Keeps beautifully in the fridge for a few days — slice and reheat for quick breakfasts.

Slow-Braised Roast with Carrots, Celery & Peas

Use: Beef Roast

Season and sear the roast. Add diced onion, carrots, celery, garlic, broth, and a bay leaf. Let simmer in the oven at 300°F for 3–4 hours until fork-tender. Stir in peas at the end.

Serve with creamy mashed potatoes and the broth spooned over top.

A true Sunday meal.

**For a quick and easy option, sear your roast in InstaPot, add broth, garlic, and onions and cook for 90-100 minutes.

T-Bone Steaks with Herb Butter

Use: T-Bone Steaks

Season generously with salt & pepper. Sear in cast iron or grill until desired doneness. Finish with:

Herb Butter:

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • Chopped rosemary
  • Lemon zest
  • Cracked pepper

Side Ideas:

  • Maple roasted sweet potatoes
  • Sautéed green beans
  • Caesar salad

Let the steak rest before slicing — always.

Holiday Charcuterie Board Featuring Summer Sausage

Slice the summer sausage into rounds or thin sticks and pair with:

  • Aged cheddar
  • Pepper jelly or honey
  • Crackers or sliced baguette
  • Nuts (walnuts or pistachios)
  • Pickles or olives
  • Fresh fruit (apple slices, pears, grapes)

Styling Tip:
Lay the summer sausage in a curved “river” across the board first — arrange everything else around it.
